This website takes an academic approach to defining and exploring various facets of the green economy. Get yourself a cup of coffee and sit down to read Brian Milani's challenging and comprehensive overview of what it means to build and sustain a green economy. Here's a taste from the introductory page of the website.

"Green economics is the economics of the real world - the world of work, human needs, the earth's materials, and how they mesh together most harmoniously. It's primarily about "use-value," not "exchange-value" or money. It is about quality, not quantity for the sake of it. It is about regeneration - of individuals, communities and ecosystems - not about accumulation, of either money or material." The author goes on to define ten interrelated principles of a green economy, providing a solid basis for further study and exploration of the concept.

The website also features a detailed outline of Milani's book, Designing a Green Economy, as well as links to some of his articles, projects, and other initiatives. Also featured are links to green books, green economics essentials, and some partner pages.
